Technology Lead

mFoundry is looking for a Retail Technology Lead who is ready to leverage their natural level of intensity and professionalism to build a team second to none.  You should have a bench of world-class developers to tap to help insure our success as we continue to pave new ground together.  We were just awarded the “Best Virtual Prepaid Card” platform and look to add more awards to our accolades, but more importantly we want someone who is looking to push the envelope on mobile payments.  Passion and marquee partners (like Starbucks) will propel our market presence.

The Retail Tech Lead will report to the CTO with a dotted line to the SVP, Wallets & Payments and will be required to work in our Larkspur office.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

• Architecting a robust platform solution from end to end
• Building, managing and mentoring the technology team (developers, quality assurance, etc), including remote employees
• Providing direction and reviewing workload
• Direct establishment of controls and process for engineers
• Implementing the structure and forecasting resource needs
• Working closely with the Product Management and Professional Services teams to ensure consistent delivery of high quality services and products
• Managing the outsource IT Support organization and the offshore outsource IT team

Qualifications:

• Extensive JAVA, hands-on JAVA experience required
• Prior experience managing teams
• Enjoys coding when necessary
• Sense of humor always a plus
• No longer reside in mom’s basement
• Programming experience on one of the following platforms: iPhone, Android
• Solid web technologies - Spring, Ajax
