Technical Project Manager / ScrumMaster

mFoundry is hiring a ScrumMaster to work directly with our product development team. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, software engineers, quality assurance analysts and the product owner to evolve our best in class mobile financial services platform. You will report to the VP of Product Development.

Our software is already used by some of the most recognizable financial services brands in the country. We were named the most innovative financial services technology company for 2009 by Bank Technology News. Our product development expansion plans are aggressive and exciting – we need a seasoned professional to harness the talent of the team and help take us to the next level of productivity and output.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Previous work experience at a software product company, utilizing agile software development methods.
• Previous work experience across the software lifecycle in roles such as: software engineer, QA engineer, team lead, project manager, product manager, etc.
• Certified ScrumMaster, ideally Certified Scrum Practitioner.
• Prior experience working as a ScrumMaster with teams responsible for commercial software product development, testing, and shipping.

Relevant but not required Experience and Skills:

• Prior work experience in retail or business banking domains.
• Prior work experience in the payments domain.
• Prior work experience in mobile phone software development.
• PMP or other project management certifications
• Good understanding of standard J2EE application frameworks, and typical 3-tier web architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the software product release process.
• Measure the software process for velocity and quality.
• Help identify and remove impediments from the team.
• Enforce Sprint commitments to scope, quality and timing.
• Facilitate software process improvement.
• Assist with team resource management.
• Establish program level monitoring controls, for the broader organization.
